U Maw Than, the Auditor General of the Union received the delegation from Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) at the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, Nay Pyi Taw at 9:30 a.m. on May 5, 2016.
In the meeting, they discussed updates on the progress of CIMA in Myanmar and CIMA-MICPA-CFO programme for accountants in the OAG, and CIMA’s 3 year Plan for Myanmar.
U Maw Than, the Auditor General of the Union received H.E Ann Ollestad, the Royal Norwegian Ambassador accompanied by the delegation from the Office of the Auditor General of Norway at the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, Nay Pyi Taw at 3:00 p.m. on the 3rd of May, 2016.
1. In order to get further co-operation between the Office of the Auditor General of the Union (OAG) and German International Cooperation (GIZ) in the implementation and enforcement of IFRS and ISA in Myanmar’s financial and banking sector, OAG and GIZ entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 16th March 2016 at the Office of the Auditor General of the Union, Nay Pyi Taw.
